I am a writer and a knitter. My “real” job is teaching English and writing — but I moonight as a flutist, singer, melodica player, guitarist, ukulele player, and saxophonist. I also lift weights, cook, and watch a lot of movies — lately that’s included a lot of 1940s musicals, silent films, and noir. I live with my lovely boyfriend, bandmate, and movie-buddy, Patrick. He is responsible for 95% of the photographs on this blog, so we all should give him a round of applause.
